The sunburst blue and gold Lunascope showcases an unusually large moon-phase display on the upper half of the dynamic dial. The golden moon moves across a dark blue, starry background, with superimposed hour numerals, and a date window with a golden trim, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the watch. The natural impression of the Earth’s satellite is represented with astronomical precision, accurately displaying the moon’s various phases.

Most watches require adjustment to account for the moon’s 29.5-day lunar cycle, deviating by eight hours per year and needing a complete day adjustment every third year. However, the MeisterSinger Lunascope is equipped with a specially designed movement that only requires a slight adjustment after 122 years, ensuring exceptional precision. The Swiss automatic movement can be viewed through the screwed glass exhibition back of the 40-millimeter case.
